How to List the Advance Child Tax Credit on your Bankruptcy Forms

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 provides for additional financial aid to families in the form of an advanced child tax credit, paid out in monthly installments. 

Since these payments are not counted as income for purposes of the means test or for any other eligibility analysis that considers income, these payments are not listed anywhere on your forms.
