If my student loans are listed on my discharge order along with all my other creditors?
No. That only means that the lender will receive a copy of your discharge order. This lets them know that the automatic stay is no longer in effect and that they can resume collection activities.
If my student loans are listed as general unsecured claims in a report the trustee filed?
No. Even though student loans are not automatically discharged in bankruptcy, they're considered general unsecured claims, not priority claims. That does not change the fact that a separate adversary proceeding is necessary to discharge student loans in bankruptcy.
If my student loans are showing a zero balance on my credit report?
No. It's possible that the lender assigned you a new account number and reported the original account(s) as having a zero balance as a result. Unless an adversary proceeding was filed and the court entered an order specifically holding that your student loans are discharged, you still owe on your student loans.
