In this situation you should request to speak directly to the bankruptcy or loss mitigation department. Then, you can explore your options such as whether you want to maintain payments, sign a reaffirmation agreement, seek a redemption (where you pay for the current value of the vehicle, not the remainder of the loan) or surrender the vehicle.
