Can I request a tax transcript from the IRS?

Yes. You can order your tax transcript if you do not have it by going to the IRS website. 

We recommend, however, that you get your tax transcript from the company or person who helped you file your taxes. Many debtors use H&R Block or TurboTax and are able to log into their accounts to directly get the transcripts.
